J. Patrick Ordonez, MD

I graduated from the highly selective 8-year combined undergraduate-medical degree program at Brown University in 1999. I completed the Beth Israel Urban Family Practice residency, a program affiliated with Albert Einstein College of Medicine, in 2002. Upon completion of my residency, I practiced at Mt. Hope Family Practice and Walton Family Health Center in New York until 2006. In 2007, I relocated to Massachusetts and worked at Pentucket Medical Associates in Haverhill. I joined North Reading Medical Associates in 2009. My areas of interest include foreign languages, travel, reading and art.

Daniel Powers, DO
-Primary Specialty: Internal Medicine
I received my medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1997 under a Health Professions Scholarship. Thereafter, I completed my residency training in Internal Medicine at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, and the Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven, CT. I served as a Battalion Surgeon in the 2nd Marine Division at Camp Lejeune, NC and participated in several military operations overseas. While in private practice in Connecticut I held several teaching appointments at Yale University School of Medicine and School of Nursing. I have been in private practice for 8 years and became board certified in Internal Medicine in 2003. My special interests in medicine include asthma, preventive health, sports medicine and cardiovascular disease. I pride myself in helping patients be the best they can be. I see myself as their advocate, advisor, and confidant. I enjoy spending time with my family, playing hockey, weight-lifting and aerobic exercise, golf and reading. I am a professional fine art photographer. I have 3 young children, 2 cats and 1 dog.

Melissa Donais, FNP

I received my Bachelor's Degree from Yale University in 2006, majoring in Women's Health and graduating with distinction. I was also the recipient of the prestigious Lily Rosen prize in Women's Health. In May 2010, I completed my Registered Nurse and Family Nurse Practitioner studies at Boston College, graduating with a 3.9 GPA. I was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, a nursing honor society, for my excellence in nursing practice and scholarship in May 2010. I am Board Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. My areas of interest include long distance running, yoga, pilates and reading.
